MEMBERSHIP

Membership in the Buenos Aires International Newcomers (BAIN) Downtown Group is open to all English-speaking expatriates living in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Membership is $100 pesos per year, payable or renewable either in January or July of the current year.

Membership in BAIN/Downtown provides you with:

Monthly Meetings, Cultural & Social Events – BAIN/Downtown offers informative guest speakers, book exchanges, museum tours, reading clubs, games clubs, coffees, luncheons, dinners, and much much more. Monthly meetings are FREE for BAIN/Downtown members ($10 pesos for visitors; $5 pesos for BAIN/Suburbs members).

Bi-Annual Parties – Twice a year our Monthly Meeting turns into a special event:
Arrival of Spring is celebrated in late September with champagne and hors d’oeuvres. For the past few years it’s been held in the lovely garden at Museo Sivori, as shown here. FREE for BAIN/Downtown members. .
Pre-Holiday Party is our annual evening gala held in mid-November. Reduced pricing for BAIN/Downtown members.

Notification of Upcoming Activities Plus – Timely emails which keep BAIN Members informed of “insider” activities, special events and exclusive discounts.

Member Notices – Particularly convenient for expats moving in/out of Buenos Aires. BAIN provides email notifications for members with items for sale, or to make other announcements…. whether you’re getting ready to move to your next assignment and need to sell your household goods… or it’s simply time to exchange your treadmill for a Cuisinart.

Membership Directory - to keep in touch with all your new expat friends.

Membership in BAIN/Downtown grants access to the "Members Only" area of our website which includes:

Calendar – New! Our Google calendar is constantly updated to show BAIN/Downtown events as well as other activities we hope our members will find of interest.

Upcoming Events – Detailed listing of what’s on the horizon -- what, when and where the next events are happening along with contact info so you can reserve your space!

Activities – An overview of the wide range of programs – social, educational, cultural, sport-related and charitable -- that BAIN has to offer.

Member Marketplace – The “grand bazaar” where BAIN members promote their goods and services.

Note that this Members Only Area of the BAIN Website is password-controlled.

The password is periodically changed and members informed via email.
